Free event - Costs & your loss leaders

In this free event we look at costs, and why I don’t think your Will is your loss leader (your Power of Attorney documents are). We will talk about loss leaders generally though, including the possibility that it is a stage in all of your matters, instead of one matter type.

More importantly, we will talk about what to do with them. There is no problem with having loss leaders, as long as we are honest with ourselves about which matter types are loss leaders, and also understand how many loss leaders we can afford to do per month.

We work through a series of questions about your law firm, live, during our hour together. Based upon your answers to those questions we will come away with a plan for your business, and how you are going to be more intentional about your costs and your loss leaders. We will look at things like -

  • What are your loss leaders, in your business?

  • What if your loss leader is not a matter type, what if your loss leader is a stage in all matters?

  • How many hours do your loss leaders take, from start to finish, and how many hours do you have in a month to devote to work?

  • How are you currently measuring the work that you get from these loss leaders?

  • What are your current funnels or referral channels for work, not just your loss leaders but all of them? How much time are those channels costing you per month?

  • What pivot could you start making, this week, to reduce (but not eliminate) your more expensive loss leaders, and focus on more profitable work or on a more profitable channel for new work?

You will get a work book in the video I tell you how to work through through it. The goal will be to choose one thing to do, this week, to capture your loss leader and have it work for you. Set a goal for one of your loss leaders, and take one step this week to bring it closer to meeting that goal.
