While the focus on Wills has brought clients to our offices, how do we make sure that we are getting the clients to do more than simply name their Attorney? We will look at the frequency of disputes while people alive, vs Estate disputes, and what we need to do in response.

We know that elder abuse is prevalent, and we want to protect our clients, but what is the best way to go about that? Is the client sitting across the desk from us today being abused now, or are we protecting against future abuse? And if we are protecting against future abuse, then how do we get the client to take this risk seriously when objectively, their family is not doing that, so they don’t believe us.
